- Biography
My visual art practice incorporates painting and printmaking, sculpture and textiles. I worked as a doctor in palliative medicine and general practice for nearly 20 years before leaving the profession to focus on art.
I have an enduring interest in the body as a site of knowledge. My enquiry engages with the life cycle, transformation and the interplay of internal and external worlds, exploring how the embodied experience of painting can come close to expressing these states.
